Welcome

Welcome to Hennepin Theatre Trust – the non-profit owner of the historic and vibrant State, Orpheum and Pantages Theatres and a spark for a vibrant city. Year-round, we open our doors and roll out the red carpet to welcome you to a wide array of events and programs that make this city more culturally vital and economically successful. August heats up with the return of the phenomenally popular Wicked, this time for a six week run, which kicks off our incredible Broadway season. Next up in October is Rock of Ages, an arena-rock love story set to the ‘80s greatest hits from Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar and more. I’m enthusiastically inviting you to join us for a spell-binding night at the theatre, an enlightening educational experience, an unforgettable concert or some laugh-out-loud comedy. Hennepin Theatre Trust plays a pivotal role in making downtown Minneapolis an attraction to more than 500,000 people who visit our theatres each year. Your patronage not only supports the Trust in its work, but your involvement sustains the energy that is so essential to our city’s vibrant cultural environment.
When you join us in the audience of our magnificent historic venues or visit the more intimate Hennepin Stages, you enable us to better serve you and the greater community. A portion of each ticket purchased not only assists in the ongoing operation of these architectural gems, but when you become a Trust Donor your contributions help us expand our SpotLight Musical Theatre Program for high schools, deliver opportunities to students through our Critical View student reviewer program or create theatre opportunities through our ticket Access program. When you contribute to the Trust, you can be confident that you are making a difference: 98% of each dollar you give supports programs directly serving our community!
We welcome your involvement and support as we continue to foster the range of cultural activities that so significantly impact downtown Minneapolis. I invite you to explore our website for more information about how you can share in our many exciting endeavors.
