Seasonal Part-time Bartenders / Concessionaires

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Sets up and restocks set and mobile bars with various food and beverage items and related supplies, replenishes concession areas as necessary;
  • Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of all bar areas, ensures bars are in proper working condition;
  • Conducts clean-up, proper secure storage of product and supplies. Returning mobile bars and related duties; at the end of the shift; reports equipment repair to supervisor;
  • Maintains cleanliness of kitchens and kitchen equipment; removes debris and recycling to appropriate location;
  • Complies with all health code regulations;
  • Accurately and efficiently fills orders for customers requesting beverages;
  • Consistently displays a positive attitude towards guests, co-workers, supervisors, staff, and show-related personnel;
  • Maintains an acceptable liquor pouring percentage, according to policy;
  • Follows the State of Minnesota and Employer policies regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages including checking identification of patrons attempting to purchase alcohol;
  • Handles cash according to policy; charges customers accurately for purchases and correctly provides change;
  • Assists supervisor with stocking, cleaning and organizing of liquor rooms;
  • Assists in the determination of the beginning inventory of product and records numbers on the appropriate form;
  • Counts beginning bank cash on hand;
  • Reconciles any additions or damaged product on inventory form;
  • Conducts a closing product inventory, recording the ending inventory numbers on the inventory form;
  • Reconciles ending bank cash to register tape, handles cash according to policy and completes the deposit envelope;
  • Arrives on time for scheduled shifts;
  • Maintains appropriate appearance and wears assigned uniform during all scheduled work hours;
  • Performs other duties as assigned – including cross assignments for merchandise vending

QUALIFICATONS:

  • Past bartending experience preferred;
  • Hands-on team player with excellent customer service and problem solving skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Proactive attitude with a strong sense of urgency for setting goals and achieving desired results;
  • Ability to offer creative suggestions and collaborate across departments to achieve company objectives;
  • Working knowledge of Points of Sale, cash registers
