Croon and Swoon

Exceptional SpotLight students from schools around the Metro area performed hits from the era famous for Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby. The SpotLight Cabaret Series is a new education Initiative of Hennepin Theatre Trust designed to give students creative control over all aspects of the production, from directing and producing, to performing and marketing.

Participating students included Sarah Cartwright, Grace Chermak, Connor Dufault, Ryan Fargo, Larissa Grundmanis, Abby Herickhoff, Becca Hiiva, Anne Lampright, Connor Lysholm, Ryan McCartan, Abilene Olson, August Ogren-Dhen, Dan Piering and Bailey Richardson.

The SpotLight Cabaret Series is part of Hennepin Theatre Trust’s SpotLight Musical Theatre Program, supporting the work of Minnesota high schools that present musical theatre. The cabaret series is a hands-on performing experience open to all participants in the SpotLight Musical Theatre Program.
