SpotLight Teacher Zone
The SpotLight Musical Theatre Program not only strives to provide resources for students but also outlets for teacher exchanges and resources. Below are a few ways SpotLight helps connect theatre educators.
Musical Theatre Workshops
Throughout the year, SpotLight schools are offered one free musical theatre workshop of their choice from our list of offerings. Additional offerings are available for a small fee. Contact us to set up a class today! Please allow at least two weeks prior to your requested date. Schools outside the Twin Cities Metro area and beyond Minnesota can request workshops through our distance learning initiative.
Stock Exchange
This program lets participants know which schools may have inventory such as costumes, set pieces or props from past productions that may be either loaned or rented for a nominal fee to other schools. Schools should be contacted directly as Hennepin Theatre Trust will only serve as an informational resource and will not set rental fee guidelines or parameters. The Trust is not responsible for any part of the agreements struck between parties and all fees or barters must be negotiated directly between the involved schools.
Ticket Exchange
Designed to motivate students to attend other musicals, schools can offer tickets to their production to other schools. These are open and available to any SpotLight School.
