SpotLight Musical Theatre Program
WELCOME PARENTS!
Do you have a teenager who is involved in their high school’s musical theatre program? Or maybe you know of a high school musical theatre program in your community that deserves recognition. If so, here is some information about Hennepin Theatre Trust’s SpotLight Musical Theatre Program.
SpotLight's goals are:
1. To publicly recognize, encourage and celebrate young people's involvement and achievement in musical theatre.
2. To highlight the benefits of a comprehensive theatre arts education for all students.
This year, the program culminates June 7-8, 2008 when students from around the Twin Cities area gather for a weekend of performing arts workshops, dialogue with other students and theatre professionals, and an awards ceremony. All students from all participating productions are encouraged to get involved.
You can learn more about the program by checking out the FAQs and watching our short video. You're also welcome to visit the educators' section to read our welcome letter and registration form. Don't forget to encourage your local high school to get involved if they aren't already!
The SpotLight Musical Theatre Programs depends upon the generosity of individual and corporate donations. If you or your business would like to support this program, please contact Tom Hoch at 612-373-5615 or email .
