The University of Minnesota Law School's Theatre of the Relatively Talentless (TORT) returns to the Pantages Theatre to present its eleventh annual musical, Back to the Future Interest. Like all TORT productions, it is written, produced and performed entirely by Law School students, with reckless disregard for talent. Tradition dictates cameo appearances by faculty and prominent members of the legal community. Scheduled to elevate the atmosphere for the 2013 production are cameo appearances by former U.S. Vice President Walter F. Mondale, professors and Minnesota Supreme Court Justices. Back to the Future Interest tells the story of Marty and Reagan, law students who get transported 30 years in the past to Mondale Hall in the year 1983. With the help of crazy Prof Brown they attempt to get back to 2013. If you have ever dreamt of seeing your professors as law students in the 80’s, or if you love property law, this is the event you have been waiting for. |
