 Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida, a co-production presented by Theater Latté Da and Hennepin Theatre Trust and directed by nationally acclaimed director Peter Rothstein, kicks off the new year January 3-27, 2013 at the Pantages Theatre. Winner of four 2000 Tony Awards including Best Musical Score with music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice, the musical is based on the Giuseppi Verdi opera and tells the dramatic love story between Radames, the captain of the Egyptian army, and Aida, the captured Nubian princess.
