![]() Sister’s Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny Go To Heaven? is the newest addition to the sinfully funny Late Nite Catechism series. Starring award-winning veteran actress Kimberly Richards as "Sister," this "holy hilarious" one woman show answers the season’s time worn questions including "Why isn’t Easter on the same day every year like Christmas?" and unearths the origins of Easter Bunnies, Easter Eggs, Easter Baskets, Easter Bonnets, and, of course, those yummy Easter Peeps. Sister’s Easter Catechism is the fourth in the series of plays written by Maripat Donovan, whose Late Nite Catechism franchise has played more than 40,000 performances in front of 10 million audience members in over 250 countries worldwide. An Outer Critics Circle Award and Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award Nominee, it relies heavily on audience interaction and participation. Sister's Easter Catechism answers questions about Saint Francis, pet heaven and the significance of those adorable baby chicks and features Sister’s own version of the Easter Egg Hunt with special rewards and candy giveaways. This seasonal treat follows a long line of related performances in the Twin Cities including Late Nite Catechism 2 at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in February 2006 (also starring Kimberly Richards) and the premiere of Nunset Boulevard at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in November 2009. |
