Loni Anderson

Loni Kaye Anderson was born August 5, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Carl K. Anderson and Maxine H. Kallin. During grade school, Anderson’s family lived in New Brighton and later moved to Shoreview where she attended Ramsey High School. Anderson was crowned Miss Roseville and was the 1964 runner-up in the Miss Minnesota contest. She later studied at the University of Minnesota and performed at The Friar’s Dinner Theatre, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres and the Old Log Theatre. Anderson later moved to California where she was cast as the stunning receptionist Jennifer Marlowe on the popular “WKRP in Cincinnati” TV series which aired from 1978-1982. Anderson was married to Burt Reynolds from 1988 to 1993. In 2008, she wed Minnesota native Bob Flick of the folk band The Brothers Four, after meeting at a Minneapolis movie premiere. Anderson has also starred in many made for television moves, including the part of Jayne Mansfield in a biopic with Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as feature films and cameo broadcast appearances.
