Our Theatres

share
Hennepin Theatre Trust's historic State, Orpheum and Pantages Theatres are unique to Minneapolis and continue to be among the finest venues in the Midwest. The Trust works to preserve, maintain and improve these nearly century-old venues to ensure they operate smoothly into the future. Whether you're seeing the hottest Broadway shows under the Orpheum's chandelier, staring up at the Pantages' stained glass ceiling during a concert or examining the State's colorful murals at intermission, please enjoy the performance in the setting of these architectural gems. These theatres were originally part of Minneapolis's own “Theatre Row,” with more than 30 show houses lining Hennepin Avenue. Today, only four of them still exist. To maintain history at its finest and keep the theatres actively programmed and comfortable for audiences, millions of dollars have been invested to maintain and implement improvements. The New Century Theatre, a flexible use performance space opened in City Center in 2011, compliments our other historic venues.
