MINNEAPOLIS—The Australian Pink Floyd Show returns to Minneapolis with their “Exposed in the Light” Tour to play Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Orpheum Theatre at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 15. Taking its title from the lyrics of the Floyd classic “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” the show promises a multi-media sensory experience with a state-of-the-art surround system, new lasers, lights and video effects. The tour also features Pink Floyd veteran Lorelei McBroom, who toured with the British rock band on the “Momentary Lapse of Reason” and “Delicate Sound of Thunder” tours. Their 2011 special, “The Australian Pink Floyd Show: Live from the Hammersmith Apollo,” will be airing locally on Twin Cities Public Television in June. To purchase or for more information, please visit HennepinTheatreTrust.org or call 1.800.982.2787.

A worldwide sensation, The Australian Pink Floyd Show has become a definitive concert experience for live music audiences, with Floyd fans of all ages embracing it. Since emerging in 1988, this live touring phenomenon has sold more than three million tickets. Floyd drummer Nick Mason even said on BBC radio that the band is, “Very good, probably better than we are.” They were also engaged by Floyd lead guitarist and singer David Gilmour to perform at his 50th birthday party. This tour will showcase the group’s meticulous attention to detail, delivering a Pink Floyd show at its most flamboyant with the reverberating soundscape that has entranced millions of devotees for the past 15 years. Fans of the original psychedelic British rock band will have the chance to relive and relish their classic songs.
