We did it!
Thanks to the generosity of the Hennepin Theatre Trust community, we are happy to announce that we have successfully completed our $30,000 SpotLight Distance Learning Initiative fundraising campaign!
We are extremely grateful to Steve and Barbara Cossack, The Cossack Foundation and Priority Courier Experts, who offered a generous $10,000 challenge matching grant that helped us raise the remaining $10,000 needed to reach our goal!
This year, responding to requests from greater Minnesota schools who wish to participate in SpotLight, we are launching the Trust's SpotLight Distance Learning Initiative, enabling us to reach thousands more students throughout the state with video conferencing technology; a tool that most schools across Minnesota can access. This technology will allow us to expand SpotLight to nine Greater Minnesota schools this year and provide musical theatre training to any school throughout Minnesota and beyond.
