Volunteers are integral to Hennepin Theatre Trust, sharing their time and expertise in a variety of settings.
Volunteer Orientation
All volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Orientation. Prior to the orientation please download a copy of the Hennepin Theatre Trust Volunteer Manual and bring it with you. These orientations will be held at least monthly at the theatres. The orientation will begin at the State Theatre and will conclude with a mini tour of the State and Orpheum Theatres.
Our volunteer program is reaching capacity. To be notified of upcoming orientations please sign up as a volunteer.

Administration
Administrative volunteers meet as needed at Hennepin Theatre Trust’s downtown Minneapolis office and assist with projects in public relations, marketing and research. Volunteers enjoy pizza and refreshments!
Events
Event volunteers help plan and staff Hennepin Theatre Trust events, assist with activities and provide on-site support to ensure their success.
In-Theatre
Disney’s The Lion King
Ten volunteers are needed at the Orpheum Theatre during each performance of Disney’s The Lion King. Volunteers must wear standard volunteer attire and have attended a volunteer orientation. Check our calendar for exact dates and times.

American Idiot
February 21 – February 26, 2012
Eight volunteers are needed at the Orpheum Theatre during each performance of American Idiot. Volunteers must wear standard volunteer attire and have attended a volunteer orientation. Check our calendar for exact dates and times.

Million Dollar Quartet
March 27 – April 1, 2012
Six volunteers are needed at the State Theatre during each performance of Million Dollar Quartet. Volunteers must wear standard volunteer attire and have attended a volunteer orientation. Check our calendar for exact dates and times.

Mamma Mia!
April 24 – April 29, 2012
Eight volunteers are needed at the Orpheum Theatre during each performance of Mamma Mia! Volunteers must wear standard volunteer attire and have attended a volunteer orientation. Check our calendar for exact dates and times.

Blue Man Group
June 15 – June 24, 2012
Eight volunteers are needed at the Orpheum Theatre during each performance of Blue Man Group. Volunteers must wear standard volunteer attire and have attended a volunteer orientation. Check our calendar for exact dates and times.

Street Team
The street team helps promote Trust presentations by distributing materials and becoming active online fans through social networking sites. If you are interested in helping with the Street Team or need to pick up materials, contact us at StreetTeam@HennepinTheatreTrust.org.
